Painted Tables

While I am finishing up my craft room redesign, I thought I would put together a couple posts on some of the stuff I've made in the last couple years. Some of my favorites were these tables, all of which were made with acrylic paints, ModPodge decoupage glue, paper (images printed out), and lots and lots of coats of a hi-gloss poly-finish. The tables themselves all came from thrift stores.

This one I made as a housewarming gift for my sister and her husband. They have had the good fortune to visit more gorgeous beaches than I'll ever see and they've always sent postcards. I saved most of them over the years plus added a few more and voila!
This is a bad picture, but the only one I have of my koi table. I made this one for my dad for his birthday a few years ago. The top is painted, except for the fish (which are decoupaged). I don't have a pic of it, but the sides are painted to look as if you are looking into the "tank" from the side.

And this last I made for myself years ago. It's in storage now (hence the horrible background) since coffee tables and toddlers don't mix, but one day I'll get it back. It was made from two different decks of Tarot cards.

And I'm linking up to these parties...
